Our History

1970

Loren and Mary Kate Liming along with their family started L & L Plastics with 2 Injection molding machines in a small building located in Felicity, Ohio. Loren Liming and Joe Liming work to grow the business over the next few years.

1970

1983

Jim Liming joins the day to day operations of the business and continues expanding the facility by adding on to the original building. Creating more production area as well as storage for raw and finished materials. Through the next 14 years Loren and Jim expanded the business into other markets and paved the way for the next expansion.

1983

1988

Jim started another building right next to the original building and when it was finished, doubled the size of our facility.

1988

2001

In 2001 Loren’s grandson Lance Liming joined the business and started working on ways to grow their market share. While the 1st few years were tough, they were able to start molding in 2 new industries (the Sporting Goods and the Mobility industries). This kicked off a chain of events that would take the business from 4 injection molding machines to eventually 14 Injection molding machines.

2001

2012

During the time of growth Rob Laubach joined the team at L & L Plastics. He is another grandson of Loren Liming and had worked in manufacturing for the past 16 years. It was also during this time that L & L bought the assets of another Injection molding shop and moved all the machines to L & L’s site. Rob oversaw most of the move and proved his worth right away.

The next few years L & L grew in size and employees while expanding into the Power Distribution industry and the Material Handling industry.
